Gender:
- The main character in my preliminary task is female. Women are stereotypically portrayed as weaker than men, and this is shown as she is the target of the stalker. It may also be argued that women are more smart than men and this is portrayed by her finding out what is wrong and solving the problem.
Age:
- Age will be conveyed well in my preliminary task because the actors i have used are the same ages of he characters i am trying to portray and i believe that this will be key to portraying the weakness of the innocent teenagers.
Ethnicity:
- White female. She is portrayed as stereo typically weak and innocent as if she has done nothing wrong. Also has a posh accent which portrays that she is upper class.
Sexuality:
- It is not specified whether she is homosexual or heterosexual as it not necessary. Stereotypically, the character might be heterosexual as she is talking got a boy but no 'love' is hinted at or portrayed.
Class and Status:
- It is suggested that she has a higher status in society as she has a nice house and is privileged enough to have a high end laptop and phone. Also her accent contributes to her being upper class because she seems quite posh rather than the boy being upper middle class. This could possibly be the reason for her being targeted.
Regional Identity:
- The character is a typical school girl. Although her school and year group is not stated, it is insinuated that she goes to school and lives in a nice house.
Disability/ability:
- No types of disability are portrayed so the audience do not know anything about this subject.
